IPL hair removal theory
Due to the skin's selective absorption on light, the hair shaft will absorb the intense pulsed light (IPL) and there will generate some heat. Then, the heat will be transferred to hair follicle through the hair shaft, which induces the temperature increase in and necrosis of hair follicle. Thus, permanent hair removal effect is achieved.
